 TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS MANAGEMENT 

 

 EP planning in accordance with the Strategic Development Plan of the University;

 monitoring the implementation of the university EP;

 development of internal regulatory documents for the formation and approval of educational programs;

 planning and coordination of educational and methodological work in the implementation of educational programs of the university in accordance with the state license for the operating control over educational activities, the State Educational Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the internal documents approved by the rector of the university;

 providing methodological assistance to departments in the development of educational programs in accordance with professional standards and employers' proposals, organizing seminars, conferences;

 monitoring the compliance of educational programs entered in the register of educational programs of the authorized body in the field of education, the State Compulsory Standard of Higher Education and developed taking into account the National Qualifications Framework and the Sectoral Qualifications Framework in the field of education;

 submission of information and reporting information on the implementation of the OP of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

 organizing and delivering internal audits in the structural divisions of the university;

  analysis of the quality of the educational process planning and compliance with regulatory requirements;

 improving the educational process and improving the quality of educational activity;

 implementation of academic mobility in accordance with the Rules for organizing the educational process on credit technology of education;

 coordination of work on the implementation of multilingual education;

 providing methodological assistance in organizing the activities of Academic Councils in the areas of personnel training.

 

FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

1. plans the educational process in accordance with the Rules for organizing the educational process according to the credit technology of education and the approved intra-university regulatory documents;

2. develops the Rules for the preparation and approval of educational programs;

3. provides methodological assistance to departments in the formation of educational programs;

4. coordinates the activity on the preparation of working curricula, catalogs of elective disciplines, a catalog of disciplines of university components, educational and methodological complexes of disciplines, controls the scheduling of the educational process, the academic calendar;

5. plans and organizes the implementation of the academic mobility program;

6. supervises the activity of the Academic Councils in the areas of personnel training;

7. determines the norms of the norms for calculating the time of the teaching load of the teaching staff of the university, determines the volume of the teaching load and the staff, submits for approval, analyzes the calculation of hours and the distribution of the teaching load in the department;

8. controls the implementation and improvement of multilingual educational programs (teaching staff, academic groups, contingent);

9. makes proposals for improving the training system;

10. carries out an activity to improve the internal regulatory and methodological documentation related to the educational process;

11. prepares certificates and information on issues considered for the Academic Council, administration;

12. provides information on inquiries and letters of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The program of internal academic mobility is the displacement of students for training and exchange of experience for a certain academic period to another university.

The academic mobility program is implemented in accordance with the Rules for organizing the educational process on credit technology of education (Approved by Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 20, 2011 № 152 (with amendments and additions dated 12.10.2018 № 563).

 

               Academic mobility - the displacement of students or teachers-researchers to study or conduct research for a certain academic period (semester or academic year) to another university (within the country or abroad) with the obligatory transfer of the acquired educational programs, disciplines in the form of academic credits in their own university or to continue your studies at another university.

Paragraph 3. Organization of academic mobility, including international credit mobility of students

1. To ensure academic mobility, students study certain disciplines in other educational institutions, including abroad. At the same time, a bilateral agreement is concluded between educational organizations.

2. In order to benefit from the diverse educational experience of other educational organizations, academic disciplines and the amount of credits that a student masters at another university are determined the time frames in the "windows of mobility".

3. The order of organizing the academic mobility of students, the selection of students is carried out by the university independently. At the same time, referral for participation in academic mobility within the framework of programs funded at the state level is carried out in accordance with the Rules for referral for study abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility, approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 19, 2008 № 613 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan under №5499).

4. To participate in international credit mobility, knowledge of a foreign language is required at the level stipulated by the host educational organization.

5. The final document confirming the training of a student under the mobility program is a transcript or its analogue in the host country. The transcript contains information about the training program: the names of disciplines (modules), grades, a number of acquired academic credits.

6. Learning outcomes, mastered in full by students in the framework of academic mobility and confirmed by a transcript, are re-calculated by the university without fail.

 

For students participating in the internal academic mobility program:

Students of 2-3 courses (3-6 semesters) can participate in the academic mobility program.

Required documentation for participation in the academic mobility program:

1. Application addressed to the rector of the university

2. Application modeled on ECTS (stamped by the sending institution)

3. Contract for training (with a list of disciplines of the sent party)

4. Tripartite agreement (stamped by the sending institution)

5. Letter of proposal from the head of the department, with the seal of the institute

6. Individual student curriculum

7. Transcript (stamped by the sending university)

8. Notarized letter of consent of the parents of the student, a participant of the academic mobility program

9. Medical certificate (082/u form)

10. Copy of student ID

Upon completion of the training, the participant of academic mobility provides the following documentation:

2. Application modeled on ECTS (stamped by both universities)

3. Tripartite agreement (stamped by both universities)

The program of internal academic mobility is the exchange of knowledge and experience by transferring students to another domestic University for a certain academic period.
