The academician N.Bazanova prize was awarded for the first time for kazakh women scientists

A solemn ceremony of awarding the Academician N.Bazanova award for Kazakh women scientists, organized by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place in Almaty.

Bazanova Nailya Orazgulovna (1911-1993) was the first female academician in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the founder of a new field of biological science - the physiology of farm animals. She is the first doctor of biological Sciences among Kazakh women, professor, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Honored Scientist of Kazakhstan. 

The award for the first Kazakh women scientists was solemnly awarded to 48 leading women scientists and researchers who have made a special contribution to the development of Kazakh science, have high scientific potential, and have shown the best results in various fields of science. Among them is professor-researcher of the educational program "Biology, Geography and Chemistry" of the educational institution Anipa Tapalova. 

The scientist has published 6 articles on the international Wef of Science database and 10 articles on the international Scopus database. Anipa Seydalyevna became the winner of the republican contest "The best university teacher" in 2024.  

Currently, the number of women among scientific researchers in the country is about 12 thousand. Last year, Kazakhstani women published more than 3,100 articles in the journals Web of Science and Scopus. 

The solemn event was attended by about 400 leading women scientists, researchers, teachers and heads of universities, scientific organizations that have made a special contribution to the development of Kazakh science.
