The Center of the ACeSYRI project of the Erasmus Plus program of the European Union

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, Korkyt Ata University participates in the project "Advanced Center for PhD Students and Young Researchers in the field of computer science (ACeSYRI)". Joint project (project registration number 610166-EPP-1-2019-1- SK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) is carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ program in order to develop cooperation between doctoral students, undergraduates, young researchers, teachers of Kazakhstan and the countries of the European Union.

The main goal of the ACeSYRI project is to improve the conditions for young scientists, PhD students in the field of computer science through the development of international cooperation with universities of the European Union, the development of a virtual portal and a center in Kazakhstan in order to promote cooperation with target groups.

The project began in January 2020 and is designed for 3 years and is conducted by 3 European (Slovakia, France, Poland) and 9 Kazakhstan universities such as Nazarbayev University, K.Satpayev Kazakh National University, Suleiman Demirel University, Almaty University of Energy and Communications, M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University, Western-Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The implementation of the ACeSYRI project results is a valuable contribution to the modernization of higher education in Kazakhstan.

In June this year, the university held an International scientific and practical online conference on the topic "Modern information technologies and computer modeling of systems", which was attended by 174 people, representatives of universities in Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. According to the results of the conference, the conference Materials were published, consisting of 94 articles by the participants.

One of these interim results of the project is the creation of the ACeSYRI Project Center. Working at the ACeSYRI project center allows participants to create research centers, collaborate with international research groups, and share scientific information and project results. Undergraduates and PhD students, as well as young teachers will be able to conduct their research on the university's scientific portal, will be able to exchange scientific articles, find foreign consultants, review their scientific articles and receive qualified advice from professors and scientists of the Project Consortium. 

It is expected that improving the research conditions of young researchers, as well as involving them in current research problems, will increase the level of higher education in the field of computer science and information technology.
