The Museum of Water Management named after Madelkhan Nalibayev

In 2022, the Museum of Water Management named after Honored Hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madelkhan Nalibayev was opened.

The opening of the museum was sponsored by "Hero of Labor" Abzal Yeraliev. The museum shows the history of development of ancient irrigation systems of Syrdarya land from the moment of its origin to the present day, describes their researches and maps, development of water industry.

Madelkhan Nalibayev, who devoted his life to water management and the creation of the historical museum, made a special contribution to the training of water specialists.
Madelkhan Nalibayev was born on August 15, 1931 in Aidarly village of Syrdarya district of Kyzylorda province. He is an honorary citizen of Syrdarya district, "Honorary Academician" of the Eurasian

International Economic Academy, holder of the medal "Yeren eenbegi ushin", Honored Hydraulic Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Almost two decades ago Madelkhan Nalibayev organized work on opening of the historical museum, combining works of farmers of Syr land and advanced experience of water management. The Museum of Water Management contributes to the quality training of our students, as well as familiarizes residents and guests of the region with historical exhibits in the field of water management.
