A joint international project with a Turkish higher education institution has been launched

As part of the international Cultural Heritage project, representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey and Akdeniz University visited our University during April 25 to 29.

The aim of the project is to help young people understand the essence of their culture, regardless of their place and country of residence, strengthen the national identity of young people and establish cultural unity with the Turkish people.
The Turkish delegation got acquainted with the youth policy of our university and the region, discussed joint start-up and research projects that will be implemented in the future.
In order to present the culture and art of our country, the university youth demonstrated their talents to the guests and organized a special poetry evening.

The Korkyt Ata mausoleum, which is the common cultural heritage of the Turkic-speaking countries, was also shown to the guests, and kui was performed on kobyz.
In the future, the project will provide cultural integration of Turkish art of marbling and rug weaving, which is the traditional heritage of the Turkic people, as well as the development of skills used by young people in certain cultural elements of Kazakhstan, such as music, information exchange on painting, theater and dance of partner countries.

In continuation of the project, academic mobility of students, an international scientific seminar, and a scientific internship of teachers in the form of an annual bilateral scientific and cultural project are envisaged and planned.
