The NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE was held in Kyzylorda for the first time

On October 5-6, the Nasa Space apss challenge hackathon on space technologies was held among young people at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

270 participants registered for the hackathon and 72 project teams took part. 40 projects competed off-line, 32 in online format.

The participants spent 48 hours developing projects relevant to the NASA theme, aimed at innovation in the space industry. The purpose of these projects is to give a boost to future Earth and space research technologies.

The project was organized by Kyzylorda Hub business incubator, Kazakhstan Smart Space institution, Atameken NPP and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Among the sponsors are Yerlan Raimov, Venera Dauletbayeva, Bankcenter Credit.

The results of the competition will be released on October 15 after the project evaluation process by the expert commission.  The best project in Kazakhstan will receive a ticket to the international stage of the Nasa space apps challenge hackathon.
