An information session about the Erasmus+ programme was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University

An information session about the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union was organized at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The event was attended by Laura Paluanova, Coordinator of the National Office of the Erasmus+ programme in Kazakhstan, Dana Abdrasheva, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University, teaching staff and students.

During the information session, Laura Kalabaevna made a presentation and provided comprehensive information about international credit mobility programmes, joint Master's degree programs of Erasmus Mundus, increasing the potential of higher education and Jean Monnet projects. In addition, the participants were explained how to prepare competitive project applications within the framework of Erasmus programs.

"The main goal of the projects is to increase the potential. It is aimed at developing the capabilities of higher education institutions, teachers and students. Students have the opportunity to participate in Master's degree programmes in Europe for free and study in several countries. According to the Erasmus program, one can study every semester in different European countries. In two years, a student can get an education in 2-3 European countries," Laura Paluanova said.

This session will allow teachers and students to establish cooperation with foreign educational institutions and get full information about opportunities to participate in international educational programs. The Erasmus+ program makes a significant contribution to strengthening educational and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Europe.
