New horizons of knowledge: the experience of a student of Korkyt Ata University in Belgium

Amina Laubayeva, a student of group "Accounting and Auditing 22-2" at the Institute of Economics and Law of Korkyt Ata KU , shared her impressions about how studying abroad opens up new opportunities both personally and professionally.

"Studying in Belgium gave me the opportunity to learn new topics. The knowledge gained here will help to develop those areas of our country that are still poorly studied."

In addition to the academic part, studying abroad gave her a chance to make friends from different parts of the world, get acquainted with their culture and traditions. "Every conversation with international students is an exchange of knowledge and cultural peculiarities. I will learn about their customs and climate, and they will learn about the traditions of our Kazakhstan."

   

Amina pays special attention to how studying abroad expands her professional skills and develops flexibility of thinking. "They offer completely new approaches to solving problems, which further develops my professional skills."

However, in addition to studying, Belgian universities actively involve students in extracurricular activities, organizing events aimed at getting to know the culture of Europe. "We visit museums and theaters, which helps to better understand the cultural characteristics of this region."

Amina also touched upon the topic of environmental awareness, stressing that studying abroad helps to take a different look at issues of sustainable development and the importance of caring for natural resources.

"Studying always comes first for me, and I'm always looking for opportunities for personal growth. Belgium is a new country, new people, culture and customs, and this experience helps to rebuild my consciousness and worldview," says Amina.

Thus, participation in the international program "Erasmus +", which covered the costs of living, education and insurance, became an important step for Amina on the way to professional growth and personal development.
