Аdvisor to the president Мalik Оtarbayev paid a working visit to the land of syr

A meeting with Malik Otarbayev, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.  

The meeting was moderated by the Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova and she reported on the progress of the tasks within the framework of the Address at the educational institution.

The meeting was attended by Deputy akim of the region Shakhmardan Baymanov, rectors, teachers and students of universities in the region.
Malik Nurzhanovich noted that the president pays special attention to youth support. Advisor to the President told the youth how important education and science are to become an advanced nation.

"Internal culture develops through education and science, culture and art. We must become a reading nation. Currently, we are moving away from national literature. We need to study researchers from the West and the East in all sectors and share experiences. However, we must not forget that it is the national literature that makes us Kazakhs. In whatever field we study, in whatever field we work, the national literature still remains unchanged. Therefore, I urge young people to read books," Malik Nurzhanovich said.

In addition, he shared his thoughts of the President, expressed at the Kurultai, on strengthening national identity. He stressed that the Head of State loves books, thanks to his knowledge he is fluent in five languages. He called for a competent command of the state language and the study of foreign languages. In addition, he recommended reading accurate and high-quality sources of information in newspapers and magazines.

Currently, there are 3 higher educational institutions in the land of Syr. In particular, Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University, Bolashak University and Kyzylorda Open University. During the meeting, the representative of each university focused on the results of the work done at the educational institution on the tasks arising from the President's Message. The Rector of Bolashak University Omirbek Umbetov, Chairman of the Youth Committee of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University Nuraim Sagnadinovna, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of Kyzylorda Open University Medet Bakytzhan made presentations.
