The external expert commission got acquainted with the potential and resources of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University

The Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency is the leading international accreditation agency for education quality assurance. The organization conducts international institutional and specialized accreditation, which is recognized at the national level in various countries, including Kazakhstan. 
From November 19 to 21, 2024, representatives of the agency visited Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University as part of the international specialized accreditation of 7 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs.  The External Expert Commission of the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency met with the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University, Vice-rectors, Heads of structural divisions, Directors of Institutes, Heads of departments, teaching staff, students, employers and graduates.

The experts got acquainted with the material and technical base and infrastructure of the university, visited the Students' Palace, the Seyhun Sports and Recreation Complex, the student dormitory No. 5, the classroom and laboratory fund of the 5th building, and other educational campuses.  The experts also visited the practice bases, attended lectures and practical classes, and studied the necessary documentation.  
The range of interests of the external expert commission, based on measurable rating studies, includes issues of ensuring the quality of education by the university in accordance with international standards and guidelines, and opportunities for the dissemination of best international practices in an educational institution. The mechanisms and tools used to ensure the professional competitiveness of university graduates have also been studied.
