New facility opened at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University

Тhe ceremonial opening of a new 50-seat dining room and a BIC (business incubation center) coworking space for the region's youth took place at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University.

The presentation of the new facility was attended by Chairman of the Board-Rector Beibitkul Karimova, Chairman of the University Veterans Council Bakhyt Kaliev and University veteran, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Serikbai Koshkarov and the university staff.

The new dining room is designed for a one-time reception of 50 people.  It is equipped in accordance with modern requirements for the health and comfort of students and staff of the educational institution. The dining room has a dishwasher, refrigerator, special rooms and additional areas for staff in accordance with high sanitary requirements. In the new dining room there is an opportunity not only to have a delicious and healthy snack, but also to study in a cozy and calm atmosphere.

The BIC coworking space covers an area of 500 square meters. The Center provides extensive opportunities for the development of knowledge and skills in the field of technological entrepreneurship, IT, innovation and artificial intelligence. It is equipped with high-tech equipment such as 35 powerful computers, an LED panel, an interactive panel, and high-quality Internet with a speed of 500 MB/sec. The Coworking Center includes a conference room, an open workspace, a GameDev center, Digital creativity, Hardware and CyberSport, as well as a dining room. 

"Modern coworking is aimed at increasing the professional and creative potential of the region's youth. Any interested young person can attend free educational courses, master classes and get advice from experienced specialists. In addition, there will be an opportunity to develop incubation programs and startup projects," said Zhanarys Tubekbayev, head of the KyzylordaHub business incubator.

The main goal of coworking is to introduce young people to technological entrepreneurship, teach them how to effectively use modern tools and help them realize their ideas.

It is worth noting that the dining room and coworking space are located in a new facility built next to the central main academic building. Currently, the university is actively implementing projects to develop modern infrastructure. This, in turn, is designed to improve the quality of the educational institution and create comfortable conditions for students and staff.
