Laura Anuarovna visited China with a delegation from the region of Syr

A delegation from the region of Syr headed by Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev paid a working visit to China. The delegation included Laura Tokhetova, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the educational program "Agricultural Technologies" at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University. The main purpose of the visit is to attract investments in the agro-industrial, construction, and service industries of the region.

During the trip, the delegation visited and got acquainted with the work of the Institute of Biotechnology and Nuclear Technology of the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The Institute is an important center in the field of scientific research and innovation, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural production.

During negotiations with Liu Yun, Director of the China Seed Association, and Xiao Langmu, Director of AIR FARMER CO., the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in the field of rice cultivation and personnel training for the agricultural sector.

Xiao Langmu, Director of AIR FARMER CO, also became interested in the grant project of Ibadulla Tautenov, the university scientist AP23489478 "Ecological testing of grain sorghum varieties on saline soils of rice systems in the Aral Sea region of Kazakhstan." As a result, Xiao Langmu agreed to provide support for the distribution of seeds of drought-resistant high-yielding varieties of grain crops for testing ecological varieties in our region. 

This visit marked the beginning of strengthening long-term cooperation between Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and the Institute of Biotechnology and Nuclear Technology of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
