Criminologists: the key to solving the mystery of crime

An educational meeting was held at Korkyt ata Kyzylorda University with the participation of representatives of the Police Department of the Kyzylorda region, dedicated to March 1 - the Day of Criminology Workers.

The event was attended by the head of the operational and criminalistic department of the Police Department for the Kyzylorda region, Adilbi Zhusupov, senior criminologist of the operational and criminalistic department of the Police Department, Police Major Ilyas Raykhanov. During the meeting, the students were told about the innovations of criminology for solving crimes, identifying criminals and acquitting the innocent. He also shared the intricacies of technologies such as fingerprints, DNA testing and digital forensics, which help law enforcement agencies solve complex cases. 

At the meeting, Marat Sadikov, a veteran of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, retired police colonel, currently head of the forensic laboratory of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, informed the youth about forensic methods, and Serik Molzhanov, a qualified expert from the region, reported on expert activities and activities in the field of criminology.

The students watched "One Day of a Criminologist" and videos dedicated to forensic methods. At the end of the event, the participants asked questions to industry experts and exchanged views.
