Оur esteemed professor-scholar turns 70

An international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Doctor of philosophical sciences, professor Baimyrza Kozhamberliev was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university.

At the event, Mainura Buribaeva, the university's Vice-Rector for scientific work and international relations, specifically highlighted the professor's contribution to the development of the education sector.

The following individuals delivered reports: Gulzhikhan Nurysheva, Director of the Center for Kazakh Philosophy at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor; Serik Nurmuratov, Director of the Philosophy Center at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Dauletbek Rayev, Professor at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences; Abdirashit Bakirov, Vice-President of the Republican Public Association «Qazaq Álemi»; Leskhan Askar, Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences; Gaziz Telebayev, Professor at the Department of Philosophy of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Gulzipa Yesirkepova, Associate Professor at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences; and Bolat Apenov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Social-Humanities Disciplines of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The event was attended by the university staff, the jubilee's colleagues, distinguished guests, and students.

Baimyrza Kozhamberliev was invited to the Department of «Philosophy and Economic Theory» of the university as an associate professor in 1997. Demonstrating activity in scientific and pedagogical work, from 1998 to 2008, he held the position of Head of the Department of «Philosophy and Cultural Studies». From 2008 to 2012, while serving as dean of the faculty of «History and Kazakh Philology», he introduced innovations in higher education and contributed to improving the quality of education. Since 2020, he has been working as a professor at the department of «Philosophy and social-humanities disciplines» at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university. His scientific research and teaching methods have made a significant contribution to the development of philosophy and have facilitated the professional growth of many students and young scholars. The professor not only shares knowledge, but also teaches his students freedom of thought, critical thinking and scientific inquiry.

It should be noted that the scientist has authored 5 books and over 200 scientific and methodological articles.
