Didar: traditions and individuality

The Didar folk dance ensemble with a 25-year history, created as part of the educational program "Traditional Musical Art and Choreography", held another high-level concert at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The Didar Ensemble with a quarter–century history is a collective that has become a creative nest of young people who are passionate about art. Over the years, the ensemble has educated many talented graduates and made a great contribution to the popularization of our national culture through dance. 

During the creative evening, various folk dances characteristic of each region of the Kazakh people were presented to the audience. Every movement and image of the dancers on stage artistically conveyed our national identity and made a deep impression on the audience. Each dance peformance was presented not only as a movement, but also as a stage piece with its own idea, emphasizing the national tone.
