Law and Justice: Problems of Legal Equality in a New Society

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted an international scientific and practical conference named «Law and Justice: Problems of Legal Equality in a New Society», dedicated to the distinguished figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor Arykbay Agibaev.

The purpose of the conference was to perpetuate the scientific legacy of Arykbay Agibaev in the field of legal equality and justice. It also aimed to discuss the problems of legal equality in the new society and share the scientific research of young people and scientists.

The meeting was attended by the editor-in-chief of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Candidate of Geographical Sciences Kali Omarov, Judge of Kyzylorda City Court № 2 Zhuldyz Zhaakeeva, Deputy Prosecutor of the Region Madi Sarpekov, Head of the Criminalistics Division of the Economic Investigations Department Batyrkhan Sadykov, Lawyer of Kyzylorda Region Saule Aitmakhankyzy, Judge of Kyzylorda City Court Ergaly Shekerbekov, Prosecutor of the Public Interest Protection Department Bek-Sultan Imantaev, Head of the Analytical Research Devision of the Economic Investigations Department Kairat Akhmetov, Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Guldana Kuanaliyeva, Associate Professor, Candidate of Legal Sciences at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Orynbasar Tlepbergenov, Master of Legal Sciences, Senior Lecturer Nurgal Kobdabaeva, Lawyer of Kyzylorda Region Zhanar Tumenbay, lecturers and students, as well as representatives of Russia, Karakalpakstan, Kyrgyzstan, and higher education institutions from all over the country.

Conference attendees paid tribute to Professor Arykbay Nusipalievich Agibaev's enormous contribution to science and law, honoring his distinguished life.

The event featured detailed discussions on issues of legal equality, principles of justice, and the protection of human rights.

During the meeting, young scientists and students presented their research and exchanged views.

Based on the results of the two sections, first place went to Malika Kytaibekova, a student at Berdakh Karakalpak State University, and Akzhan Adilkhan, a student at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Second place was awarded to students of Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata Anel Akhmetkali, Nargiz Raiymbek, Zhibek Anapiy, and a student of Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov Nazym Tolegenova. Third place went to students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University: Yernar Seisentayev, Meruert Abdybek, Balnur Zhaksylyk, Islam Abildaev, as well as students of the K. Zhubanov Aktobe Regional University Melekhanum Mamlieva and Nazerke Izteleuova.

This event allowed young scientists and students to deepen their legal knowledge and contributed to their scientific and practical development.
