University students take part in the XIII Summer Universiade
Students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University are taking part in the XIII Summer Universiade among university students of the Turkestan region.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the university Beibitkul Karimova, who wished the participants success and worthy results.
The goal of the Universiade is to develop mass student sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen friendship and cooperation among young people.

More than 4,000 students from 76 universities from all regions of the country are taking part in the event. Competitions are held in 17 sports, including Olympic and national disciplines.
It should be noted that the Universiade will last until June 14.
