Won Prizes at the XIII Summer Universiade

Students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University achieved impressive results in taekwondo at the XIII Summer Universiade, bringing home 4 silver and 6 bronze medals. Our athletes proudly represented the university and demonstrated true fighting spirit at the tournament held at the Turkestan Arena in Turkestan.

More than 4,000 students from 76 universities across the country took part in this large-scale sporting event, competing in a variety of disciplines.

The main goals of the Summer Universiade are to promote mass sports, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and foster friendship and cooperation among young people.

The student team was led by Bayebulan Bayzhanov, senior lecturer of the educational program “Physical Culture and Primary Military Training”.

It is worth noting that the XIII Summer Universiade will continue until June 14. Many intense and exciting competitions still lie ahead. We wish our young athletes the best of luck!
