SMART CITY KYZYLORDA HACKATHON 2025: WINNERS DETERMINED

A hackathon of IT projects "Smart City Kyzylorda Hackathon 2025" was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University with the support of the akim of Kyzylorda region.

The main goal of the competition is to search for startup projects, digital solutions and talented specialists. Developing and increasing the interest of young people in the field of artificial intelligence, information technology, and innovative projects within the framework of the Smart City reference standard.

The hackathon of IT projects covered the following areas: "Development", "Modeling", "Artificial Intelligence". For the sixth time, 317 participants and 93 projects took part in the competition. Along with the youth of the region, participants from the cities of Turkestan and Taraz participated in the competition.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were: Alisher Romankul — "Artificial Intelligence", Nuray Mukhtarbek — "Modeling", Aizere Bekzhan — "Development". In addition, Nadira Atymtai, Inkar Bakytkyzy and Aigerim Fazylkarim received educational grants from Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The best projects were awarded by Shynar Narymbetov, Deputy Director of the KSU "Information Technology Center" of the office of the Akim of the Kyzylorda region, Sabit Ibadulla, Deputy Head of the Police Department of Kyzylorda region, and Nurlan Kulmurzaev, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Institute of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

In order to stimulate the teams participating in the competition, they were awarded special prizes from the Kyzylorda Hub business incubator.

It is worth noting that the University's Entrepreneurship Center worked with 13,300 young entrepreneurs, which contributed to the implementation of 145 startup projects.

Earlier, 94,000,000 tenge of investments were attracted in new projects of various directions.
