An Inspiring Meeting with Kyrymbek Yeleuovich Kusherbaev

A memorable meeting took place at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University with Kyrymbek  Kusherbaev — a prominent statesman and public figure, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education, Doctor of Political Sciences, and Professor. The event brought together university veterans, faculty members, students, and esteemed guests.

Among the distinguished attendees were Nauryzbai Baykadamov, Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Candidate of Historical Sciences; Kylyshbai Bisenov, academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, and Honorary Rector of the University; as well as members of the University’s Board, the Academic Council, veteran faculty, doctoral students, undergraduates, and media representatives.

Kyrymbek Yeleuovich is a graduate of the V. I. Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute and the Academy of Social Sciences in Moscow. He is the author of more than twenty scientific works, monographs, and notable publications. For his exceptional contributions to public administration, he has been honored with numerous state awards, including the Orders of “Barys” (I and II degrees), “Parasat,” “First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev,” and the “Dostyk” Order (I degree) of the Russian Federation. He also holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the First Class.

During the event, Beibitkul Karimova, Chair of the Management Board and Rector of the University, presented Kyrymbek  Yeleuovich with a diploma conferring the title of Honorary Professor. In her address, she stated:

“Honoring our distinguished individuals is a timeless tradition of our people. In recognition of your selfless work and invaluable contribution to the development of our nation, it is my privilege — by the decision of the Academic Council — to bestow upon you the title of Honorary Professor of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.”

The meeting was conducted in an open and informal atmosphere, with faculty and students actively engaging in dialogue. Thought-provoking questions were raised about state governance, leadership, national values, and strategic development. Kyrymbek  Yeleuovich’s responses were both informative and inspiring, especially for the younger generation.

The event concluded with heartfelt congratulations from the university community, who expressed their appreciation for his decades of dedicated service and wished him good health, longevity, and continued happiness.
