Athletes of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University Win Four Medals in Judo at the XIII Summer Universiade

Students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University achieved outstanding results in judo at the XIII Summer Universiade, earning two silver and two bronze medals.

The competitions took place at Turkestan Arena in the city of Turkestan. Representing the university with pride, the athletes demonstrated perseverance, determination, and athletic skill.

Rustam Tolysbekov and Olzhas Orazalyevich secured silver medals in individual bouts, while Zarina Muradasyl and Talshyn Kydyrbaeva earned bronze. The team was coached by Serikzhanov, senior lecturer of the university’s Physical Culture and Primary Military Training program.

This year’s Universiade brought together over 4,000 students from 76 higher education institutions across Kazakhstan, competing in a variety of sports disciplines.

The primary goal of the Summer Universiade is to promote mass sports among youth, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and foster friendship and cooperation among students.

It is worth noting that the XIII Summer Universiade will continue until June 14, with many exciting competitions still ahead. We wish our young athletes continued success and new victories!
