University Students Win Four Bronze Medals in Karate-Do

Students of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University won four bronze medals in karate-do at the XIII Summer Universiade, held in the city of Turkestan.

At the competitions hosted at the Turkestan Arena sports complex, our students proudly represented the university, demonstrating determination, resilience, and a strong will to win.

In the individual events, bronze medals were awarded to Gabiden Orynbayev, Bakdaulet Kubash, Daniyar Zharylkasyn, and Mohammed Amin Abzelil.

It is worth noting that this year’s Universiade features more than 4,000 students from 76 universities across the country, competing in a variety of sports disciplines.

The main goals of the Summer Universiade are to promote mass sports, encourage healthy lifestyles, and strengthen friendship and cooperation among young people.

The competition will continue until June 14. We wish our university’s athletes continued success and new victories!
