University Representatives Took Part in the Youth Forum Dedicated to the 180th Anniversary of Abai

At Shakarim University in Semey, a Republican Youth Forum was held on the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was themed “ Abaydyn "Tolyk adam" ilimi: ulttyk kundylyktar men zamanaui kozkaras” (Abai’s Teaching of the ‘Complete Human’: National Values and a Modern Perspective).

This large-scale forum brought together representatives from the education sector and youth organizations from across the country. Participants shared insightful views on spiritual development and national upbringing. The most active participants were honored with Letters of Appreciation from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.

Among the awardees were Zhandos Bazartai, Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Work at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, as well as active students from our university — Gani Kuanyshbekov and Ayaulym Yermekbayeva.

This recognition reflects the dedicated efforts of Kyzylorda University in fostering the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation. The university, known for integrating education with character building, once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting national values.

As part of the forum, participants took part in an educational and historical excursion. The delegation first visited the Kushikbai Batyr Memorial Complex, which is closely associated with the names of Abai Kunanbayev, Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev, and Mukhtar Auezov.

They then traveled to the village of Borili, the birthplace of the great writer Mukhtar Auezov, where they toured his house-museum and gained deep impressions from experiencing the literary legacy of this cultural icon.
The next stop on the tour was the "Yenlik–Kebek" monument, a powerful symbol of eternal love in Kazakh literature. Participants also visited Syrt Kaskabulak, the birthplace of Abai Kunanbayuly, where they took commemorative photos at the dombra-shaped monument and deeply reflected on the importance of national and historical heritage.

The forum was a meaningful initiative aimed at reinterpreting the spiritual legacy of Abai Kunanbayuly in a modern context and promoting national values and education among today’s youth.
