A Seminar Dedicated to World Environment Day Was Held

A seminar dedicated to June 5, World Environment Day, was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The event was organized by the educational program “Electric Power Engineering, Technosphere Safety and Ecology.”

The purpose of the event was to foster ecological awareness, emphasize the importance of environmental protection, and enhance the environmental literacy of future specialists.

The seminar was attended by Kuanysh Buribai, Chief Specialist of the Department of State Environmental Control of the Department of Ecology for Kyzylorda Region; Ainur Shoybekova, Head of the Sanitary and Hygienic Laboratory; Bakytbek Abzhalelov, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Technology; as well as faculty members and students of the educational program “Electric Power Industry, Technosphere Safety and Ecology.”

During the meeting, industry experts addressed the current environmental situation, methods for the rational use of natural resources, the environmental responsibility of industrial institutions, and the role of the younger generation in preserving nature.

At the seminar, students received clear and specific answers to their questions from industry experts. The importance of increasing youth engagement in addressing environmental issues was also emphasized during the discussion.

At the end of the event, students who demonstrated outstanding performance in research activities were awarded Letters of Appreciation.
