A republican conference dedicated to the memory of Meruert Ansatova, an honored teacher, was held

A republican scientific and practical seminar on "Fundamental problems of national history: Alash studies, personality studies and historiographical research" was held at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, dedicated to the memory of the outstanding historian, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Meruert Nagymetovna Ansatova.

The event was attended by representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia, teaching staff, students, colleagues and relatives of the teacher.
At the conference, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Mainura Buribayeva spoke about Meruert Nagymetovna's academic career and her contribution to the development of science and society.
Meruert Ansatova is an outstanding teacher who devoted her life to education and science, who raised more than one generation of historians. In addition to teaching, she made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh historical science. She has published more than 120 scientific articles and about 20 scientific and methodological manuals in various national and international publications. As part of the author's team of historians of the region, she took part in the preparation of the collective work "History of the region of Syr".

Her work did not go unnoticed. Meruert Ansatova is the holder of the badge "Excellent Student of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", was awarded the badge named after Ybray Altynsarin, as well as certificates of honor and letters of appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education. In 2019, by the decision of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the title of "The best teacher in the field of higher and postgraduate education." In addition, she was a corresponding member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, a scholarship holder of the Akim of the region (2012) and the winner of the Korkyt Ata Gold Medal.

The seminar was attended by senior lecturer of the educational program "History and Archeology" of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Aitzhan Orazbekov; Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after Saken Seifullin, Candidate of Historical Sciences Lyazzat Dzhumaliyeva; Associate Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and Museology of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi Gulzhan Meyrmanova; Head of the Department of the Kyzylorda Regional Museum of Local Lore, Master of Pedagogical Sciences Aigerim Bekkuliyeva; Professor at Ankara University Haji Bayram Veli, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gulzhanat Kurmangaliyeva; Professor of the educational program Water Resources and Land Management at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Doctor of Technical Sciences Serikbai Koshkarov; University veteran, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Minsara Karamanova; Associate professor of the educational program Journalism, Candidate of Philological Sciences Aldazhar Abilov, as well as Professor Farida Ansatova's sister and Director of the Humanitarian Pedagogical Institute, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Sagat Tayman.

The conference became a landmark event that revealed the bright image of the great teacher, her moral path, scientific legacy and indelible mark in the history of Kazakh education and science.
