Awareness-Raising Session on Tick Bite Prevention Held

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted a series of special awareness lectures on the prevention of tick bites as part of its promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The event was attended by staff from the university’s medical center — Gulnara Esmakhanova and Nazerke Minas — as well as students of the Military Department.

The main objective of the session was to protect students’ health and inform them about the prevention of seasonal diseases, including methods of protection against illnesses transmitted by tick bites.

It is worth noting that the event was aimed at improving students’ medical literacy and fostering healthy lifestyle habits.
