Конституция күніне арналған дөңгелек үстел өтті

A round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of RK took place at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university. The event, named «The Fundamental Law – A Guarantee of the Unity of the People and the Stability of the Country», gathered participants to discuss this significant date.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the board - Rector, Beybitkul Karimova, who congratulated everyone on the holiday. She noted that the Constitution of Kazakhstan is the legal embodiment of the centuries - old dream of the ancestors for an independent state. According to her, the legal potential of the Fundamental Law is sufficient for the country to take its rightful place among civilized nations. Beybitkul Karimova emphasized that respect for each article of the Constitution and adherence to legislative and regulatory acts is the duty of every citizen of Kazakhstan, ensuring a prosperous future for the sovereign country. She also added that the Constitution meets modern requirements and demonstrates immense potential for the development of the state.

At the round table, reports were presented by the chair of the criminal chamber of Kyzylorda regional court, Zhanat Bekzhanov; senior lecturer in the philosophy and social-humanitarian disciplines section, political science candidate Yerbol Abenov; acting associate professor of the «Jurisprudence» educational program, Doctor of Philosophy Ainur Isaeva; and acting associate professor of the «History and Archaeology» educational program, Doctor of Philosophy Talgat Zholdasuly.

The scholars elaborated on the amendments made to the Constitution over the past 30 years and discussed issues related to the protection of human rights and the rule of law. They also presented the features of the legal systems of foreign countries.

The event was attended by the university's faculty, who exchanged opinions at the end of the conference. Additionally, discussions were held on ways to enhance respect for the law and civic engagement through the promotion of constitutional principles.
