Korkyt Ata University Students in the Global Educational Space

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University is steadily expanding its international partnerships, providing students with increasing opportunities to study abroad. The academic mobility program is one of the key initiatives, offering young people a chance not only to deepen their knowledge but also to explore new cultures, exchange experiences, and grow professionally.

Currently, university students are continuing their studies at leading higher education institutions in South Korea, Belgium, Poland, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. This achievement enhances both the quality of education and the international reputation of Korkyt Ata University.

In the fall semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the number of students studying abroad increased significantly. This reflects the growing interest of young people in foreign universities, as well as the results of the university’s active international cooperation.

South Korea has become one of the most attractive destinations this year. Six students were admitted to Seoul National University of Science and Technology, while one student enrolled at Kangnam University. These institutions are recognized as hubs of innovative education, where students not only acquire scientific and technological knowledge but also immerse themselves in Korean culture and traditions.

Four students are continuing their studies at the University College of Applied Sciences HoWest in Belgium, a country renowned for its strong educational standards. Poland also remains a key partner of Korkyt Ata University. Under the agreement with the University of Lodz, 25 students are given the opportunity to study there annually. This semester, 15 students have already embarked on their academic journey in Poland.

In Turkey, two students are studying at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, gaining unique opportunities for creative growth and the realization of new artistic ideas. Meanwhile, 2 students are studying in Kyrgyzstan, 9 in Uzbekistan, and 3 in Azerbaijan. These exchanges contribute not only to professional and academic development but also to strengthening regional cooperation and cultural understanding.

The growth of the academic mobility program highlights the international standing of Korkyt Ata University. This initiative enhances the competitiveness of its students and plays a vital role in preparing future professionals for the global labor market. By studying abroad, students contribute not only to their own development but also to strengthening the university’s global image.
