Students will will complete an internship at a Spanish manufacturing plant

There was held an official meeting with a representative of Roca Group Kazakhstan at Korkyt Ata University in Kyzylorda. Beibitkul Karimova, chair of the board and rector of the university, took part in the meeting online, emphasizing that partnerships allow students to quickly adapt to the labor market.

The parties also discussed mechanisms for implementing joint projects on industrial training for students and subsequent employment of graduates.  

The business meeting was attended by Mainura Buribaeva, Vice Rector for Research and International Relations, Ilya Shamshin, Chief Operating Officer of Roca Group, Doskhan Imanbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC SEC Baikonur and Zhanibek Kulmagambetov, Head of the Investment Attraction Department.

The representative of Roca Group Kazakhstan expressed his confidence in the prospects for cooperation with the university and represented his willingness to provide an educational grant. He also shared plans to attract students studying technical specialties to the production practice site. In addition, social projects and innovative initiatives were extensively discussed.  

It should be noted, that the Spanish company’s management plans to build a new sanitary equipment manufacturing plant in the city of Kyzylorda. The building materials factory is set to be one of the biggest in Central Asia. As part of a long-term partnership, a bunch of specialists needed for the foreign company's production will be selected from the university's graduates.
