Korkyta ata management strengthens international cooperation!

Korkyt ata Kyzylorda university is confidently entering the global arena of science and education. Last week, leading scientists from different countries gave lectures at the university and discussed matter of joint scientific research and academic mobility.

Professor Bolta Kahorov, Doctor of Biological Sciences at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, gave lectures to students of the Biology Faculty and shared the results of new research in the field of modern physiology and ecological biology. During the meeting, there were discussed issues related to the development of an academic mobility program and the implementation of joint scientific projects between the two universities in the field of biology.

Additionally, Professor Abdurrahim Berdyshev, Doctor of Technical Sciences at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, gave a lecture and shared his experience as part of the Korkyt Ata University's «Electric Power Engineering» educational program.

Besides, Professors Sergey Lyubchik and Andrey Lyubchik from the Portuguese University of Lusófona began research in collaboration with chemists from the university.

Their scientific research is focused on obtaining new sorbents and carbon materials from agricultural and environmental waste, improving water purification technologies, neutralizing heavy metals and toxins, and creating bioactive compounds and medicines from plant materials.

The professors expressed their willingness to accept students from Korkyt Ata University under the academic mobility program in Portugal.

These meetings were an important step not only in building the scientific potential of Korkyt ata Kyzylorda university, but also in paving the way for students to enter the global scientific community.

In the future, the University’s manahement will continue to implement scientific projects, internships, and research programs in collaboration with foreign partners.
