«My country, my Motherland - Kazakhstan!»

On October 25th, in honor of our country's main holiday Republic Day, a solemn meeting named «My country, my Motherland - Kazakhstan!» was held at Korkyt Ata University. At this event, the Chairman of the Management Board - Rector of the university, Beibitkul Karimova, revealed the significance of this important holiday.

«Independence is a sacred gift that we cherish with all our hearts and souls. Many of our brave and forward-thinking heroes contributed to the dawn of freedom. Cruel times, relentless history and the storms of time plunged many of them into the abyss. Nevertheless, the endless struggle ultimately brought happiness. Now, our task is to guide the path of our sovereign country towards civilization. Our university also played a special role in the formation of the young state. The educational institution has adapted to modern requirements, stepping into a new era from a technological point of view. We have created modern laboratories and practical platforms so that our students can acquire knowledge and engage in various research without hindrance. We have attracted foreign scientists and established connections with universities from other countries. Now, the task facing the younger generation is to use the accumulated knowledge for the development of the country», the Rector noted.

During the meeting, Beibitkul Karimova awarded employees who distinguished themselves with significant work and activity while developing the educational institution. 

The solemn event continued with a concert by artists from the folklore ensemble «Akmeshyt» of the regional philharmonic. On stage there were performed folk songs and patriotic works by local composers, calling for love to our homeland and care for native land. Particularly impressive were the works of the outstanding kyuishi (musician) Dauletkerey, Korugly», «Akzhelen» by Kazangap and «Manmanger» by Akan Seri. The audience enthusiastically applauded the folklore ensemble «Akmeshyt», using national instruments, masterfully performed melodies, filled with educational and didactic content.
