Kyzylorda became a vital link between Korea and Kazakhstan
A delegation from the Republic of Korea visited the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. The delegation was led by Park Hong-keun, a member of the National Assembly and President of the General Hong Beom-do Memorial Society.
The guests were welcomed by Beibitkul Karimova, the Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of the university, who shared the history and scientific achievements of the educational institution. During the meeting, the delegation members also got acquainted with the university's rare books collection. Moreover, the university rector emphasized the significant prospects for ongoing collaboration across educational, cultural, and other spheres.

The main purpose of the visit was a special demonstration of the documentary film «Army of Independence: The Unfinished War», jointly with the Korean community. This film is dedicated to the Korean people's struggle for independence and the heroic deeds of General Hong Beom-do.
The meeting provided a fresh impetus for the further development of cultural and educational ties between two countries.
