Korkyt Ata university and Turkish Scientists are working on a New Scientific Project

Beibitkul Karimova, the Rector of Korkyt Ata university met with Professor Mahmut Ozacar from Sakarya University in Turkey.

The Turkish professor arrived at Korkyt Ata university within a program, attracting foreign experts to postgraduate education organizations in order to conduct research work jointly with university scientists in both online and offline formats.

Currently, he is preparing a project for a grant funding competition, announced by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education RK, together with researchers from the «Methods of Physicochemical Analysis» laboratory. The project's theme is: «Development of functional hydrogels based on cellulose and its derivatives obtained from rice straw for various purposes».

Previously, Professor Mahmut Ozacar, in collaboration with scientists from Korkyt Ata university, published several articles in journals, indexed in the international scientific databases Scopus and Web of Science.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation in the scientific field and the implementation of joint projects and research.
