Successful collaboration continues with Keimyung university

Dana Abdrasheva, Vice-Rector for academic affairs of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university, received Professor Cagri Erdem from Keimyung University. The meeting focused on discussing cooperation in higher education and joint projects between the universities.

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda university and Keimyung university are jointly implementing the Korea Foundation's «Global e-School» project. As part of the project, Keimyung University offers 3-credited online courses per semester in accordance with the proposals of the Korean partners.

It should be mentioned, that the following online courses: «Introduction to Korean Language», «Korean Lexicology as a Foreign Language», and «Korean Society and Culture» have been held at our university.

Currently, from September to December the «Korean Society and International Relations» online course  is being held for students of the «Foreign Languages and Translation» educational program.

On November 14th, the lecturer of this course, Head of the Departments of international business and international relations at Adams College of Keimyung University, Republic of Korea, Professor Cagri Erdem made a special visit to Kyzylorda and delivered a face-to-face lecture for students.

This meeting provided students with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Korean society and international relations.
