The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University hosted a seminar themed «A Decent Citizen – An Equitable Kazakhstan»

There was held «A Decent Citizen – An Equitable Kazakhstan» seminar for students of the «Social work», «State and local administration» educational programs at the «Economics and law» institute of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Gulshat Musaeva, an executive secretary of the «Amanat» party’s Kyzylorda city branch and a deputy of the regional council, participated in the event.

During the seminar, information was presented on the importance of building a fair society, the influence of a decent citizen on public development, and wise quotations of great personalities. Key directions outlined in the President's Message were also discussed: forming a fair Kazakhstan, creating equal opportunities, building an open society, and improving life quality for citizens. Special attention was paid to the role of family, school, higher education institutions, the social environment, and personal development in raising a decent citizen.

Furthermore, examples from Abu Nasr al-Farabi's work «The views of the virtuous city residents» were cited regarding the construction of a society based on mutual assistance, and it was particularly noted that his ideas about a fair state are in harmony with the ideas of current reforms. The importance of the principle of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, «New Kazakhstan – Equitable Kazakhstan», was also brought up.

Students took active part in the event, exchanging opinions on the seminar's content and expressing their viewpoints.
