Korkyt Ata university student awarded World Champion title

Nurasyl Tilektesov, a fourth-year student at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, has won a gold medal at the World Kickboxing Championship for adults, held in Abu Dhabi.

This year, 1964 athletes from 85 countries participated in the prestigious competition. The Kazakhstan national team, comprising 49 athletes, secured a total of 3 gold, 10 silver, and 7 bronze medals in the overall standings, honorably defending the country's pride.

Nurasyl Tilektesov emerged victorious in the full-contact discipline, becoming a world champion. He has been involved in sports since the age of six. This athlete has repeatedly emerged victorious in international competitions, showcasing exceptional performance and representing their country with distinction.
