«THE HIGHEST ACHIEVEMENT IS INDEPENDENCE»

An event titled «The Highest achievement is Independence» was held at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, organized by fourth-year students of the «Journalism» specialty. The main goal of this event was to comprehend deeply the significance of national independence, to reveal the historical December events from a new perspective, and to express respect for the individuals who made a significant contribution to the formation of the national spirit.

Independence is a historical milestone that strengthened the national spirit and allowed us to reassert ourselves. The content of the event demonstrated that every morning of sovereignty is a sacred value, highlighting the selflessness of our ancestors and the responsibility of the current generation.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem and continued with a moment of silence in memory of the older generation who worked for the benefit of freedom.

Respected guests, witnesses of the December 1986 events, shared valuable insights about the historical moments of that pivotal period with youth. They noted that every step towards freedom required persistence and perseverance, and the task of the current generation is to deeply realize the value of independence.

Among the brave participants of those December events were Sholpan Baimakhanova, senior lecturer at the department of foreign languages and translation, candidate of pedagogical sciences, and Gulmira Bayalieva, associate professor at the department of Kazakh language, literature and journalism, candidate of philological sciences.

For their active work in promoting the value of independence and exemplary dedication to the younger generation, Sholpan Baimakhanova, Gulmira Bayalieva, and Assyl Urazova were awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the Kyzylorda City Branch of the «AMANAT» party. This award became a special recognition of their significant contribution to the cause of national interests.

The meaningful event, organized by fourth-year students of the «Journalism» specialty, served as a vivid example of honoring history, the continuity of generations, and a deep understanding of the value of independence. Undoubtedly, such benevolent initiatives strengthen the national spirit of the younger generation and contribute to the comprehension of the meaning of freedom.
