«Zhonishka» textbook released

A scientific and practical conference themed «Current issues in fodder crop production in Aral region of Kazakhstan» was organized at Korkyt Ata University. The event is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the renowned scientist, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Duysen Nurymov.

 

The opening speech at the conference was delivered by Mainura Buribaeva, Vice-Rector for scientific work and international relations of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, who wished success in perpetuating the scientist's scientific legacy.

The aim of the event is to share warm memories of Duysen Nurymov's students and colleagues, as well as to inspire youth towards science and education through his works.

The following scientists participated in this conference: Yermaganbet Iskak, Head of the «Agrarian Technologies» educational program at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, candidate of technical sciences; Ibadulla Tautenov, associate professor of the «Agrarian Technologies» educational program, doctor of agricultural sciences; Serikbay Koshkarov, professor, doctor of technical sciences; Kanagat Begaliev, Leading Researcher at «I.Zhakaev Scientific Research Institute of Irrigation Agriculture» LLP, head of the department of vegetable, melon, and potato crops, candidate of agricultural sciences; and Karima Myrzabek, a student of the scientist, candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. They delivered insightful presentations.

It should be noted that a presentation of the textbook «Zhonishka» («Clover») took place at the meeting, and students who actively participated in research work were awarded the Duysen Nurymov scholarship of 50,000 tenge from his family. Besides, Gulnaz Eleusizova, Saken Abyzbay, Bakdaulet Saifullaev and Anar Onalsyn were awarded letters of appreciation.
