Business trip within international cooperation
As part of the cooperation between Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University and Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech, South Korea), several university staff members undertook a business trip from January 5 to 9, 2026.
Director of the academic affairs department B.A. Doszhanov, Head of the Educational Program Coordination and Curriculum Planning Department A.Zh. Bukharbaeva and Senior Lecturers of the Artificial Intelligence Institute B.K. Zharmenova and B.K. Zhusipbek, within the Lupic program, got acquainted with the activities of several structural divisions of SeoulTech.


Specifically, Manager Won-Ki Cho presented the work of the «Teaching and Learning» Center, which focuses on methodological support for faculty and the implementation of new technologies in the educational process. Manager Ms. Hwang introduced the activities of the International Affairs Office (OIA), the implementation of academic mobility programs for international students and their academic support system. Manager Dong Hwan Kim provided an overview of the SeoulTech Library. Professors Hakyeon Lee and prof. Park Heeje from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering demonstrated laboratories for artificial intelligence, robotics, and data processing, as well as the SUIS academic portal.

Besides, the delegation learned about the work of the student committee, including the student self-governance system, the activities of the SeoulTech Startup Support Fund (SSSF), and the operation of the smart farm.
