Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University: presentation of Professor Karibozov's new works

 Bagdat Karibozov, honored figure of Kazakhstan, recipient of the «Honor» («Kurmet») and «Nobility» («Parasat») orders, doctor of philological sciences and professor, presented his works: «Precious heart» («Gaziz zhurek»), «Teacher's admonition» («Ustaz ulagaty»), «Paths of research» («Izdenis izderi»), and «Syrdarya region folklore anthology».

The event was attended by Acting Rector Dana Abdrasheva, representatives of the regional intellectuals, family members, friends, colleagues and students of the scholar. The meeting was moderated by Gabit Tuyakbayev, candidate of philological sciences and professor.

Bagdat Karibozov is the author of over 300 scientific and journalistic articles, 10 monographs, and several literary and journalistic works. The «Syrdarya library» series, comprising 200 volumes published under his leadership, is regarded as a significant contribution to Kazakh literature and spirituality.

At the solemn gathering, the three-volume «Syrdarya region folklore anthology», funded by the local budget under the professor's guidance, was presented first.

This collection includes the rich oral folk art and popular heritage of Syrdarya region. The first volume contains historical poems about Batyr Zhankozha (compiled by S. Kosan), the second volume features legends and stories prevalent in Syrdarya region (compiled by G. Tuyakbayev), and the third volume comprises myths and epics (compiled by N. Nurmakhanov). Syrdarya region, holding a special place in Turkic civilization, has long been considered the cradle of national spirituality. This sacred land, imbued with the sounds of Korkyt's kobyz, has given the world many masterpieces that have become part of the global folklore heritage.

The presentation ceremony for the three-volume work was entrusted to the entrepreneur and patron Samurat Imandossov, recipient of the «Badge of Honor», the «Honor» («Kurmet») and «Nobility» («Parasat») and «Barys» first class orders.

During the meeting, warm reviews were also expressed about the professor's works published in recent years. The book «Precious Heart» («Gaziz zhurek»), published in 2024, was recognized as a work that transformed humanity and wisdom into a philosophy of life. The work «Teacher's Admonition» («Ustaz ulagaty»), released in 2025, became a chronicle of pedagogical example and upbringing.

Professor Ulzhan Nakhhatova, a recipient of the Order of «Nobility» («Parasat»), shared her opinion on this book. In the monograph «Paths of research» («Ізденіс іздері»), published in 2026, the author scientifically analyzed issues of genre theory and national character in poetry. Associate Professor Gulzira Saparova, her student, shared her vision of this work.

The final chord of the event was the performance of students with monologues inspired by the scholar's works. These poignant monologues added depth and spiritual richness to the meeting.
