Scientific council held dedicated to the 70th birthday of Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy

A solemn session of the Academic Council dedicated to the 70th birthday of Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences, and recipient of the "Akhmet Baitursynuly" badge, Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy, took place at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

Dana Abdrasheva, Acting Rector, opened the ceremonial gathering, congratulated the jubilee from the university staff, and presented her with a commemorative congratulatory address.

The event was attended by representatives of the intellectuals, the university's faculty and staff, colleagues, students, and relatives of the jubilee.

During the event, a video clip was shown, covering Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy's life journey and her scientific and pedagogical activities.

At the Academic Council, Candidate of Philological Sciences and linguist Kuldursin Saryshova delivered a report dedicated to the jubilee's scientific and pedagogical works. In addition, Zhandos Bazartai, Chairman of the "Amanat" party Kyzylorda regional branch, Aitjan Orazbakov, Chairman of the University's trade union organization, Bakhytkhan Zhunayduly, Rector of the Open University, Abaybek Talgatuly, Director of the I. Abdikarimov higher college, Alaydar Sanuaruly, Deputy Director of the Orda higher college, Samal Ilyasova, a student, and university professors and lecturers delivered their warm words to Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy.

To conclude the gathering, students recited poems dedicated to their teacher, and the jubilee expressed her gratitude.

Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy is an outstanding scholar and a qualified educator who has dedicated her conscious life to the development of national spirituality, the Kazakh language, and literature. She began her career in 1978 as a school teacher, and since 1993, she has worked as a lecturer in higher education institutions, later becoming a department head. Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

In 2003, she defended her candidate dissertation on the topic "Artistic and stylistic researches in Kazakh poetry of the early 20th century". The scholar has published textbooks such as "Children's literature" and "Ways of teaching legal terms based on information technology in education", one monograph, and over 70 scientific articles. 

Her research focus is dedicated to the problems of Abai Studies. She has authored valuable works on Abai's worldview, spiritual harmony in the works of the great poet and the figures of Alash, the literary connection between Abai and Pushkin, as well as on artistic integrity in oral folk art and heroic epics.

For her many years of dedicated work, Sara Bakhtiyarqyzy has been awarded the "25 Years of Independence" medal, the Korkyt Ata gold medal, the Certificate of Honor of Kyzylorda region, as well as badges of honor "Best Graduate", "Best Mentor", and "Best Teacher". Besides, she is a recipient of the university's jubilee medals for its 70th and 75th anniversaries.

The celebratory meeting was a vivid demonstration of respect for the teacher's work, as well as a testament to perseverance and the pursuit of knowledge in the fields of science and education.
