Informational seminar on the “Study in Kazakhstan” platform

An information seminar dedicated to the "Study in Kazakhstan" platform was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the department of the National Development Center.

During the seminar, participants received detailed explanations regarding the admission process for international students to higher education institutions in Kazakhstan. Key stages of international student admission, document requirements, application deadlines, and the capabilities of the "Study in Kazakhstan" platform as a tool for supporting and coordinating international applicants were discussed.

A separate part of the event focused on the activities of university admissions committees and international departments. During the discussion, major challenges encountered when working with international students were highlighted, including difficulties with document verification, language and communication barriers, and issues related to students' adaptation to the educational and socio-cultural environment.

This seminar served as a platform for professional exchange of views, aimed at improving the mechanisms for admission and support of international students within the higher education system.
