Korkyt Ata University welcomed an Indonesian delegation

A delegation from the Republic of Indonesia, led by His Excellency Mohammad Fadjrul Rahman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan, visited Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

During the meeting, Mainura Buribayeva, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, provided a detailed overview of the university's history, structure, and achievements in international relations.

The parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation, developing academic mobility programs, and identifying directions for future joint projects and partnerships.

Currently, the university has signed memorandums of cooperation with two higher education institutions in the Republic of Indonesia. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on establishing partnerships with several other Indonesian universities in the future.

As part of the event, Ambassador Mohammad Fadjrul Rahman delivered a lecture to students. In his speech, he touched upon issues of foreign policy, diplomacy, and Indonesia's experience in the field of tourism, emphasizing the importance of cultural and educational ties between the two countries.

The meeting concluded with an open-format Q&A session and discussion games with students. Students who provided correct answers received memorable gifts from the Embassy. Besides, members of the delegation performed Indonesian dances and showcased their national art.

This meeting became an important step aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Korkyt Ata University and higher education institutions of the Republic of Indonesia and expanding the scope of international cooperation.
