Korkyt Ata University has contributed to solving the water deficit problem by presenting a relevant project

The faculty of the "Water management and land use planning" educational program at Korkyt Ata University, together with representatives of partner organizations, participated in an expanded collegium meeting titled "Higher education and science: a year of digitalization and artificial intelligence", organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale event took place at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev.

The collegium meeting brought together scientists and experts from higher education institutions across the country, where issues of digitalization in higher education and science, the development of artificial intelligence, and the implementation of scientific results into production were discussed.

An exhibition of republican-level scientific projects, showcasing the country's best scientific developments, was organized as part of the event. Scientists from Kyzylorda region presented the results of research under the program-targeted funding project BR21882415.

The project's theme is "Development of a technology for the safe disposal of wastewater for irrigating fodder crops and tree plantations under conditions of water deficit in Kyzylorda region". The research work is aimed at solving the water deficit problem in the region and proposes scientifically substantiated mechanisms for the efficient and environmentally safe use of water in agriculture. 

The project results were highly praised by participants and recognized as an effective, environmentally friendly, and economically viable solution for regions with limited water resources. This initiative will contribute to the sustainable development of the region's agricultural sector and the rational management of water resources.

Currently, university scientists are systematically continuing their work on the efficient use of water resources, the implementation of digital technologies, and the transfer of scientific innovations into production. The initiatives raised at the collegium meeting will undoubtedly strengthen the integration of science and education and will give impetus to the development and transition of domestic scientific potential to a new level.
