Participants from Korkyt Ata University were awarded prizes at the "AI Hackathon 2026" republican competition

Students from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University achieved excellent results at the republican competition "AI Hackathon 2026", held in Turkestan.

The event was organized by the Department of Economic Investigations for the Turkestan region. The hackathon was dedicated to the theme "Financial security in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence".

Two teams from Korkyt Ata University, representing the "Computer Science" educational program, and four teams from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence participated in the competition, presenting their projects.

As a result, university students secured prize-winning places: Nurbek Abildayev and Nurbol Onalbekov from the "Zodtech" team took second place and received a cash prize of 700,000 tenge, while Nurdaulet Nuguman and Bekbolat Bolebay from the "Lunar" team received an encouragement prize of 200,000 tenge.

This achievement is a clear testament to the students' professional qualifications, creative abilities, and teamwork.

Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has once again confirmed its potential in the field of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies.
