A Scientist from Korkyt Ata University Honored with a prestigious award for outstanding scientific achievements

Roza Abdibekovna Narmanova, a leading researcher at the Engineering profile laboratory of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, candidate of technical sciences, and associate professor, has been awarded the Nailya Bazanova Award, presented by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This award is presented to women scientists who have achieved significant success in the field of science and serves as recognition of their contribution to the development of Kazakhstani science.

The aforementioned award is associated with the name of the prominent scientist, academician Nailya Bazanova. She is the first woman academician in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as one of the founders of a new field of biological science – the physiology of agricultural animals.

Roza Abdibekovna has a scientific and pedagogical experience of 44 years. She began her career in 1981 as the head of the laboratory at the Kyzylorda branch of the Dzhambul Hydro-Meliorative and Construction Institute.

Over the years she has held positions such as head of the laboratory, junior researcher, senior lecturer, deputy head of the testing center, chief methodologist of the academic department, head of department, and head of the Engineering Profile Laboratory at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University. Currently, she works as a leading researcher in this laboratory.

The scientist is the author of over 160 scientific works. Among them are 19 articles published in scientific journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, 6 monographs, 12 textbooks and teaching aids, as well as 17 patents.

Through her consistent leadership of scientific projects and the mentorship of young scientists, Roza Abdibekovna makes a significant contribution to the development of domestic science.
