To enhance the effectiveness of the educational process, professional development courses were conducted for the teaching staff

A professional development course was organized for the teaching staff in the Center for Professional Development and Continuing Education of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.

The course was conducted by the Institute of Professional Development for Kyzylorda region of "National Center for Professional Development «Orleu»" JSC and was dedicated to the topic "Tools for assessing learning outcomes: modern models and technologies". The training was delivered by experienced instructors from the institute.

During the training, issues related to the application of modern assessment systems and innovative educational technologies in the learning process were thoroughly examined. Specifically, the conceptual foundations and types of criterion-based assessment systems, the methodological basis for integrating artificial intelligence with pedagogical innovations in education, and methods for constructing a lesson model based on AI integration were discussed.

Besides, participants were familiarized with the conceptual and regulatory frameworks of the educational process, and the requirements of the Law "On the teacher’s status" and the "Professional standard of the teacher" were presented. Within the course, information was provided on modern pedagogical research methods, such as SOLO taxonomy, UDL approach, Lesson Study, Action Research, and Learning Study.

The course also covered the methodology of differentiated learning, considering students' learning styles and age characteristics, and demonstrated methods for developing competency-based learning tasks based on the SCAFFOLD approach.

This course was aimed at enhancing the professional competence of the teaching staff and the effective use of modern assessment tools and innovative technologies in the educational process.

Upon completion of the event, participants were awarded certificates. The solemn ceremony was attended by the University Board Member – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dana Abdasheva, Director of the Institute of Professional Development for the Kyzylorda region of "National Center for Professional Development «Orleu»" JSC Kyzjibek Abdramanova, and Deputy Director Saken Serikbaev.
