New Constitution – The True Choice of the People

This important event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, political organizations and entrepreneurs, the faculty of the university, coalition members, and media representatives. During the meeting, the place and significance of the Basic Law in the life of society were comprehensively discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, Nauryzbay Baikadamov, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing that the new Constitution represents a document of fundamental historical significance for the country's further development path. Nauryzbay Seytqaliuly also noted that the Basic Law clearly expresses the the people’s will and it is the main legal foundation determining the future of the state.

During the meeting, specialists from various fields expressed their opinions. Nurlan Kulmyrzaev, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Institute at Korkyt Ata University, in his speech, focused on the importance of modern technologies and particularly welcomed the reflection of directions related to the field of artificial intelligence in the Constitution. He noted that this is an important step that opens the way to digital development and innovation.

Also, Saltanat Bizhigitkyzy, Chairman of the University's Youth Affairs Committee, emphasized that the new Constitution prioritizes the fields of education, science, and innovation. She noted that this document opens new opportunities for the younger generation and provides impetus for active youth participation in the country's development.

In conclusion, the participants focused on the role of the new Constitution in strengthening unity and stability in society, also highly appreciated it as the choice of the people.

Summing up the meeting, the head of the regional coalition "For a Fair and Progressive People's Constitution of Kazakhstan!", Rector Nauryzbay Baikadamov, stated that such open dialogue platforms ensure the rule of law and form a strong legal basis for the stable and fair development of the country. He noted that the considered opinions of society representatives contribute to the formation of a common vision for the future of the state.
