The atmosphere of the aul came alive to the sounds of zhyrau songs

The great national holiday – Nauryz – was celebrated in Syrdarya region with special grandeur and solemnity.

The large-scale festive event, organized near the "Kaisar Arena" stadium on the left bank of the Syrdarya, was aimed to lift the spirits of the people and glorify national values.

As part of the celebration, about 40 yurts were set up, each widely promoting the Kazakh people’s traditions and way of life. Visitors participated in national games, explored thematic exhibitions, and enthusiastically applauded concert programs and theatrical performances.

The staff of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, actively participating in the festive event, set up "Aul Zhyrau" in the square. In the snow-white yurts, philosophical songs of zhyrau and termeshі (musicians) were performed, offering spiritual guidance to the audience.

Led by the Governor of the region, Nurlibek Nalibayev, guests attentively listened to the precious songs preserved in the cradle of Aral, and also watched one of the Kazakh customs – the betashar (the tradition of revealing the bride's face) ceremony.

As part of the festive event, artists from the Natural Sciences Institute presented a special concert program, performing folk songs. To melodies that soothed the ear and lifted the spirits, not only guests but also robots danced.

It should be noted that current year, at the university the "Nauryznama" decade was organized with special content within the Nauryz holiday. From the first day of spring awakening, various educational events promoting national values were held in the academic facilities with the participation of faculty and students.
