Korkyt Ata University student sets new Asian Record

Snezhanna Boyko, a student of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University, has won a gold medal at the Open Championship of Asia and the Pacific, setting a new Asian record.

Snezhanna took first place in the individual youth competition in the weight category up to 45 kg, achieving the highest total across three exercises at the international competition held in Bangkok, Thailand, from April 7 to 12.

Furthermore, the athlete lifted 78 kg, establishing a new Asian record for youth. 

It should be noted that the competition features the strongest athletes from the Asian and Pacific region. This victory for Snezhanna Boyko has enhanced the university's prestige and once again demonstrated the potential of Kazakhstani athletes on the international stage.
